When we gather to pray each Wednesday online, we're not simply going through religious motions; we're connecting to the source of all power and direction for our network of house churches. We believe The House Church Network is only as strong as its prayer life.

Our weekly prayer group brings together people across New Zealand to seek God, worship together, and pray for needs both within and beyond our house church network and country.

What to Expect at Our Prayer Group
Our online prayer group follows a simple format that creates space for meaningful connection with God:
Short Encouraging Message
We begin with a brief, Scripture-based encouragement that sets the focus for our time together. These short devotional thoughts prepare our hearts for prayer and remind us of God's faithfulness and promises to His church.
Spirit-Led Worship Time
Simple, Spirit-led worship helps us center our attention on God during our prayer group. This might include a song, speaking in tongues and moments of quiet reflection as we prepare our hearts to pray together.
Group Prayer Focus
Each week, our prayer group prays together for various needs:
- Individual prayer requests from The House Church Network members, wider family, friends and contacts
- Strengthening and multiplication of House churches across our network in New Zealand, Fiji and beyond
- Mission efforts locally and globally
- Our Auckland communities and neighborhoods
- Current events and situations needing God's intervention
- Specific focus areas as the Holy Spirit leads our prayer time
Everyone is Welcome to Our Prayer Group
You don't need to be a "prayer expert or warrior" to join our Wednesday prayer group! Our prayer group includes people with diverse prayer experiences—from those who have prayed for decades to those just learning to pray out loud. The atmosphere is supportive and encouraging, with no pressure to pray in ways that feel uncomfortable.
