Taking the Gospel Beyond New Zealand
The House Church Network's vision extends far beyond New Zealand's shores. While our established house churches currently exist in New Zealand and Fiji, our mission impact reaches many other nations through short-term trips, training initiatives, and gospel outreach. We regularly equip and send House Church members out into the world. We also provide support to missions led by other churches.
Our Global Footprint
Fiji: Established House Churches
Our deepest international connection is with Fiji, where we've established two house churches. These house churches serve as hubs for discipleship and community growth in their areas. We maintain regular mission trips to Fiji to support, encourage, and further equip these house churches while helping them reach their surrounding communities.
Mission Outreach Nations
Members of The House Church Network have carried the gospel to multiple nations through focused mission trips:
- Indonesia
Teams have traveled to Indonesia to preach the Word and share the gospel in communities where the message of Jesus brings hope and renewal.
- Romania,
Mission trips to Romania have allowed us to partner with local ministries to share the gospel and support existing Christian work.
- South Africa
Our teams have ministered in both urban and rural South African communities, sharing the gospel and serving practical needs.
- India
Mission outreach to India has enabled us to collaborate with indigenous believers to share Jesus in diverse cultural contexts.
Support the MissionIn each of these nations, our teams focus on preaching the Word, sharing testimonies, and demonstrating God's love through practical service. While we haven't established formal house churches in these locations, the seeds planted during these trips continue to bear fruit through local believers and ministries.
From Participant to a Mission Leader
An Interview with Stephanie from River Church.
Stephanie's journey into mission leadership began when she joined our team to Fiji, where she fearlessly shared her testimony, and used her musical gifts to connect with locals. Her natural confidence and deep love for Jesus created meaningful connections throughout their visit, igniting within her a passionate vision for global missions that she couldn't wait to bring home. The ripple effect of this experience has not only effected Stephanie but her entire church community. Recognising her passion, church leaders appointed her to lead their newly formed missions team—a first for their congregation. The impact was immediate: within nine months, Stephanie has led her church on their own mission trip to Malaysia, with plans to join The House Church Network again for our next Fiji mission, demonstrating the powerful multiplication effect of our mission approach.

When our teams travel internationally, they engage in various forms of ministry:
- Prison ministry - Sharing hope and the gospel with incarcerated individuals
- Children's outreach - Connecting with children in the House Churches and orphanage,
- Street evangelism - Engaging people in conversations about Jesus
- Practical service - Meeting tangible needs in the communities we visit
